The goal of Blog365 was to blog every day for all of 2008, with Leap Day as a free day (I forgot and blogged that day, anyway). Lots of people who signed up dropped out almost immediately. A few months into the year, the feed was full of pompous "I prefer quality over quantity" farewells from people who wanted to make sure that we all knew the reason they couldn't manage to blog daily was because they were too busy having great sex (Btw, if you don't have the stamina to have great sex and blog in the same 24-hour period, it's time to see the doctor). Halfway through the year I heard that the founder of Blog365 was taking a break from posting. But some of us just kept on blogging**. Congratulations to those of us who finished the Blog365 challenge. We are bloggers.
**I'd have blogged anyway. My choices are:
a: Go slowly and steadily mad in the gulag that is unemployment
b: Blog about going slowly and steadily mad in the gulag that is unemployment
I'm of Irish descent; we don't go mad quietly.

Congratulations on reaching this goal, Ari. The only other 365 blogger that I know of is Angela over at the lurchers. I think she may have made it also. I'd like to write more often, but my posts always turn out too long and windy--figure people don't have the time to read this stuff every day. However, as you pointed out, blogging can serve other purposes such as helping you sort through problems. In that case, nice if others read, but not required.
If you dicide to do the 365 in '09, I'll follow your blog. You're a great writer and I never tire of Buddha and Alfie stories.
People that don't blog everyday have great sex? DAMN! I knew I was missing out!

Thank you, Faye. I'm not sure if there's going to be a challenge in 2009. I haven't heard anything. Kamen Lee, or whatever that name was, hasn't updated the www.blog365.ning.com site in ages. But I'm celebrating, anyway.

I blogged on Leap Day too. Most of the stubborn ones who blogged that day, got through in my opinion! I love your sense of humour, maybe it has to do with your Irish descent, or the fact that I'm currently unemployed too! Anyway, I think I'll stick around for a while, if you're okay with that?

Congratulations on blogging all year long. I forgot and blogged on the 29th of February too and ended the year with 378 posts at Small Reflections ... so there must have been a few days I actually posted twice and methinks YOU must have done that too.
